Where does the term “SALSA” come from? Salsa is a combination of languages; Arabic, Spanish and Italian. Now that is random! We describe salsa as a spicy sauce that is mainly consumed with chips. Salsa has been transformed over the years. Salsa dates back to the Era of the Aztecs and Mayans. These civilizations consumed their meals with salsa. Salsa was made from chiles and tomatoes. Tomatoes were first introduced to these civilizations by the Spaniards. Do you see a connection? References (2008). History of Salsa Food - Lifestyle Lounge - iloveIndia.com. There's salsa everywhere! Literally there is. After spending hours doing some research on salsas, I discovered my next step with salsa. Salsa is used in a variety of dishes. People have customized it to their liking. For instance, there's salsa that contains pineapple in it. There's also salsa de jalapeño y cilantro.
I am going to customize my mother's recipe. Perhaps come up with my own using different ingredients. I also think that I should learn to make enchiladas. I have a lot of ideas. I am just not sure when these ideas will actually happen.
